How do I connect my social media accounts to my HubSpot?

Connect your social media accounts to HubSpot to publish posts, monitor engagement and report on social performance alongside the rest of your marketing.

Before you start:

  • Plans: social tools are available with Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise. The number of accounts you can connect depends on your subscription.
  • Admin access: you need admin access to each social page or account you connect.
  • Use the right login. Posts published from HubSpot show the name of the person who connected the account as the creator. Connect using the login that manages your company's pages, not a personal account that might lose access later.
  • Connecting several accounts? Use a private or incognito browser window so you don't accidentally connect the wrong login.

Connect an account

  1. In HubSpot, click the settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  2. In the left sidebar, go to Marketing > Social.
  3. Click Connect accounts.
  4. Choose the social network, then click Connect and follow the steps below.

You can connect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube accounts.

Facebook and Instagram

  1. Sign in to Facebook and approve the permissions HubSpot requests.
  2. Select the checkboxes next to the Facebook pages and Instagram business accounts you want to connect. You'll only see pages you have admin access to, and Instagram accounts linked to those pages.
  3. Click Connect.

Please note: only Instagram business accounts linked to a Facebook page can be connected. Personal and Creator Instagram accounts, or business accounts not linked to a Facebook page, can't be connected. To link your Instagram account to a Facebook page, change the setting in Instagram or Meta Business Suite first.

LinkedIn

  1. Sign in to LinkedIn and approve the permissions.
  2. Select the checkboxes next to your LinkedIn company pages, and your personal profile if you'd like.
  3. Click Connect.

Company page not showing? Your LinkedIn profile needs Super Admin access to the company page. Ask an existing page admin to grant it, then try again.

X (formerly Twitter)

  1. Sign in to X and click Authorize app.
  2. Choose what to include in your social reports:
    • Report on posts published from HubSpot only.
    • Report on posts published from all sources: includes posts published directly on X. If you choose this, any HubSpot user with social publishing permissions can publish from this account.
  3. Click Done.

TikTok

  1. Sign in to TikTok and approve the permissions HubSpot requests.
  2. Select the account to connect and finish the prompts.

TikTok posts can only be created in HubSpot on desktop.

YouTube

  1. If you have more than one Google account, select the one that manages your channel.
  2. Choose your YouTube channel or brand account.
  3. Review the permissions and click Allow.

After connecting

  • Your connected accounts appear on the Accounts tab in Settings > Marketing > Social.
  • Assign accounts to a Brand if your HubSpot account manages more than one brand.
  • Check account access to control which HubSpot users can publish to each account.
  • HubSpot will begin pulling in recent post data for reporting.
